This Sunday

Assuming everyone's recovered from their pink eye are folks interested in getting together this Sunday? I am happy to host but its not a fantastic day for us since we have a meeting for Solomon's brother at 12:30 at our house. I propose another playground get-together. Maybe we can do the playground down by the creek this time? If it rains, our house can be the back up plan.

On the Baltimore note, one of our mainstays for Solomon's brother, and a soon to be favorite for Solomon, is the B&O Railroad Museum, which is just off MLK near downtown. It has all of these old trains, model trains, a MARK-type train you can actually ride, and is overall a pretty cool place to go if you have a choo-choo crazy kid like we do. I love the tip from Shawn on cheap admission at Port Discovery after 3 pm - that's another Eli favorite, so good to know.

  1. I will have to play it by ear with Sebastian. He's actually been fighting a recurring fever since Sunday night. We've been to the hosiptal once and the doctor twice already. He has to go back tomorrow for another while blood cell count. The pink eye seems to be clearing up ok, but this fever indicates something else is going on, perhaps a virus? It's wearing him out!

  2. Heather~ here's to a speedy recovery for Sebastian. Poor guy! Let us know if you need anything... a grocery run / pharmacy run for instance.

Joanna~ thanks for the info on the B&O Museum. I will add that to our list for our next outing to Bmore. I don't anticipate going again to the Aquarium anytime soon, but Choo Choo Museum, lunch at the Inner Harbor and then late entry (after 330p) into Port Discovery sounds like a pretty darn good day to me. Ciao.

  3. Oh, and Sunday at Dameron park around 10am works for us. We are hoping to go to the potluck at Getty around 1130a as part of plant native trees/shrubs celebration. (All are welcome, I saw it on the FE Listserv).
