Hi everyone,
I'm in search of a play date for Ryan this weekend -- Saturday afternoon, or Sunday morning or afternoon all work. We're open to hosting your child or sending Ryan over.
Aside from this weekend, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in a semi-regular play date. Our Sunday morning gatherings have long faded away, but we often find ourselves looking for ways to keep the kids occupied. Ryan in particular always wants to either have a friend over or go to a friend's house. I feel like I'm always trolling for play dates "well, I haven't asked Billy's mom in awhile, so maybe I'll see if they're free". (And I then start wondering, is it this hard for everyone else -- or is there something about either Ryan or our family that people don't like so I'm the one always looking for play dates? Or are other kids just more content to go to the park with mom and dad?). I'm starting to ramble on here so I'll stop -- but please let me know if there's interest for this weekend and in general!

ReplyDeleteThis has definitely been on our minds too. It seems that our schedules keep getting busier as the kids grow older :O)
This weekend does not work for us (surprise) but I think we can arrange for something next weekend. The boys have swimming Saturday mornings and soccer Sunday mornings through the end of October. So afternoons are better.
