New Years Eve EVE Happy Hour -- TONIGHT

Hi All!

If any of you are like me and 9pm is considered a LATE night, then this email could be for you!

Jon and I know we will likely not make it to midnight on the 31st to ring in the new year. We also know that many of you may have plans for the 31st. SO... we thought, heck -- why not throw a New-Year's-Eve-Eve Happy Hour.

That's right. A spontaneous happy hour TONIGHT... Thursday, 12/30 starting at 530p. We will have wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, pizza (DiGiorno supreme, pepperoni and cheese pizzas), and munchies. Come on over!

OF COURSE, kids are welcome. =)

napping question

I'm wondering if any of you with kids who are starting to nap less have tried shortening the nighttime sleep in response. I know the tendency is to make them go to bed earlier to compensate for the lost sleep, and I know that the kids are eventually supposed to sleep longer every night once they stop napping, but what if you're not ready for them to stop? Can I artificially forestall this dreaded event by keeping him up later at night or not letting him sleep as late in the morning?

Wednesday at Great Kids Village

Hey guys, I'm not sure how many of you are around without childcare on Wednesday, but I was finally going to try out Great Kids Village with Solomon in the morning - around 10 am. I'm anticipating that it will be crowded, so I am going to try to get there when it opens at 10. If anyone wants to join us, please do!

Any interest in playgroup sunday morning? i know we have a group birthday on saturday, so maybe not... let me know if anyone feels like playing on sunday too, otherwise, next weekend we can host instead if that's better for everyone.
